On CNN's "Your Money" this morning INTC's earnings warning and price drop was discussed. The moderator said, if you had bought INTC after the previous earnings warning and sold before this one you would have made 30%; if you had bought INTC after three earnings warnings ago and sold before the previous earning warnings you would have made 20% in that period. Bottom line, buy INTC after each earnings warning and sell just before the next one is expected.

All the people who work for Ford, Chrysler, GM, Boeing, Compaq, Intel, Motorola and all the other companies affected by Asia will be buying cheap goods from Asia. I'm sure all these companies will retain these workers until earnings turn around.

Unemployment will stay at 4.6%, inflation 0%, and the budget will be balanced forever.

IMO putting a small % of your money in LEAP puts (1/99) of banks, retailers and Autos is may prove profitable in the near future.
