Phil ... I believe that APPL financials will continue to "beat the street", but the stock can't really break out until sinking desktop-PC share is not on everyones mind.

This means that AAPL needs a new paradigm to show dominance within: Rhapsody with thin clients (aka MacNC), Allegro-Lite handhelds, QuickTime and its variations as industry standards, etc. AAPL *has* a technical edge in these areas where we are moving, but gets no "respect" - and this is why there is opportunity here, IMO.

Without a technical knock-out, the best we can have is a profitable niche, earning maybe $2-3/share but having a relatively low multiple (say $30 within the year). With a TKO, we also get a high multiple! (say $75 within 18 months; remembering that Wall Street doesn't mind paying 58 x for MSFT!)

Current management is playing for all the marbles ... and I think they can win them.
