Interesting article in our local paper yesterday about a group of hackers that has been breaking into government agency computer systems. The FBI is still trying to track the head of the group.

In a cyber-interview in Anti-Online Magazine, the hacker drives home the message that our governments systems and most corporate systems are woefully insecure and relatively easy to gain access to. He says that he and his group patch the holes in the systems they find. The concern here is that they may actually be leaving themselves backdoors through which they can later gain access again and cause big damages.

What this again indicates to me is that big business and Uncle Sam are going to have to put big bucks into computer system security and soon! The government's own report said as much late last year. We are not the only ones noticing this; Wall Street and as such IBD's ranking are telling us the same story.
