A depressed CPQ stock = a devalued 'currency' ??

Ibexx: From what I gathered from the article which I mentioned earlier in my post,it doesn't really help EP or Mason to have the stock at a depressed level as the 'DEC-deal' calls for using the CPQ stocks as currency,at least partially. After all using devalued currency in any transaction outside of its own domain is generally more expensive than a 'strong and stable currency',NO???

Hi again Ibexx:

I just wanted to update you on our Compac PC problems. Of the 4 problems Compac was very responsive to the two we've addressed so far - the dead CD ROM and bad RAM chip replaced within two days of our calling in with the problem.

Service is a plus. Too bad the quality slipped on the product going out the door.

We're still going to address the mouse issue down the road.

Hope all is well in your investing. RMBS is taking off today. I'm still waiting for it to retrace to the low $30's (and yes I know I may have missed this one).

Best regards,

Tim
