The total daily share count of shares traded includes all kinds of duplicative transactions that don't show up in a true auction. Some illegal shorting, borrowing non-existent shares, takes place. But a typical Nasdaq OTC trading day inflates total shares traded by some unknown factor. To draw the conclustion that increased volume is due to option conversions when I know for a fact that all debentures have been purchased is patently wrong. So what are we left with? A possible accumulation going on ahead of an announcement that can be implied from the latest several press releases involving Caye Chappel.
