Actually SVGI has rather ltd exposure to the Asian markets - probablt less than almost every other Semi-Equip. Although the Dongbu order was pushed out / cancelled.

In the summer, that was one of the big rallying cries for ASMLF - their much deeper Asian penetration.

Jim,

RE: is this company sitting on potentially weak orders?

If this is in reference to ASMLF, then no. Their orders are very strong, however, their Korean customers are having trouble coming up with financing - this is the major problem. MSDW estimates ASMLF will grow sales by 60% in '98.

If you are referring to SVGI, they get 10% of their business from Asia, so they are somewhat immune to the problems there.
