Paul, Once again excellent analysis. IMO when I look at DELL's position, I can't help but think of where NIKE was three years ago. NIKE had the sneaker "to own", they had built up what Bill Griffin likes to call the "BRAND CASHE", their sneaker was "the sneaker", if you were "in" you had to wear. Since that time it has all be down hill for NIKE, IMO because they refuse to design sneakers that look like sneakers but rather ones come from some weird outer-space planet.(sorry for the detour). Back to DELL. IMO Dell has "THE computer to own", they are building the "BRAND CASHE". As more and more people learn of DELL's business plan and how the get the most computer for their money, I can see people bragging about the fact that the bought a DELL. I can only see expanding sales and increased future earnings. I know Michael Dell won't make the same mistakes that NIKE made, he's too smart and focused for that. Steve
