Dear DJ: I respond to your post as well as the two that follow.

Can we try this track on a logical basis?

A. 1) The market is not doing as well as we hope it would. 2) The reported current and planned activity by the active companies, and the results of their drilling to date, must all be seen as favorable - regarding the commercial potential of the area.

B, 1) Some people know what the story is, the insiders. 2) Some are crapshooting, speculators, guys like me - and, I believe, most of you.

C. 1) The absence of market vitality is caused by insiders not investing, and by selling off. 2) It is caused by the greed, or overcaution of the crapshooters, the speculators.

Conclusion: 1) If the fear of the insiders and active companies is behind the sluggish market, they are nevertheless continuing with aggressive drilling and investment programs, so they must be 100% total frauds in keeping up with the NR's and the drilling programs. 2) If it, the sluggish market, is caused by non-insiders being skitterish, it's a bag of bullshit.

Therefore: 1) There are a bunch of gangster companies bilking the public and saving their own skins in a losing project, or 2) The hesitancy in market response is the result of primal fears and ignorance of impatient people who do not really know what they are talking about.

Any refutations to the above? gsm
