Scrapps, I will keep an eye on these guys:

6.Will I be able to connect to my ISP at V.90 speeds?

... If you have a V.90 modem, and your ISP has deployed V.90
... equipment, yes.

... If you have one pre-V.90 brand of modem, and your ISP has
... another pre-V.90 brand of equipment, you will still connect
... at the K56flx or X2 speeds.

... Virtually all ISPs are expected to upgrade to V.90. We will
... soon provide a list showing you deployments dates and
... number of V.90 POPs (dialup point-of-presence) for all major
... ISPs. (We are doing this in partnership with one of the
... leading ISP information services.)

That's got me confused Derek, what should I do with it?

When I click on one of the links it will automatically launch my newsreader and take me directly to what newsgroup I selected. I'm using Communicator and Netscapes newsreader. Not sure but I would think IE4 should do the same thing, I'll check that out....
