Thanks Lee.

Nothing on banking but here is an item I thought interesting. I have deleted the name spreading this RUMOR! I post this as it is - again a RUMOR- just as a thought!

I had heard rumors about 9 months ago that a prominent top 5 LD company that
uses mlm exclusively to market services was looking at LCI as a possible
future purchase. The reasons:
1) LCI is very profitable
2) They are a well run company
3) They provide high quality service
4) They are right behind us in size
5) The biggest reason was that LCI was in the process of developing local
phone services

Well, companies change plans and I really haven't heard anything recently
but I still believe that something may be brewing because:
1) Excel is not going to stand pat. Always searching. Looking for ways to
enhance the opportunity for us and the company.
2) The acquisition would instantly double our size
3) It would instantly add about 3000 highly trained customer service support
people to the residential and commercial operations.
4) Wouldn't Excel love to stir things up for ACN? Make them go shopping for
another provider.
5) The biggest reason is: It would give us immediate access to local
services. The same way Telco paved our way to the commercial market.

This could be the reason why the LCI CEO made the statement ACN wasn't in
their future. You never know...

Pretty good rumor though!

Keep buying that stock -except for Hank/Frank who are selling (I guess)
