As for which Y2k providers Sun works with, I am afraid I do not specifically know too many of them with the exception of one company that I have had its shares for over 4 years now. I do know Sun does work through many Y2K vendors. One of these companies is called SPNSF (Sapiens International Corporation) and it is also a stock I have been holding for almost 4 years. However SPNSF is mostly a software tool vendor that has just started to get into Y2K, and eventhough they have a contract with Sun I have no idea how much revenue they are drawing from Sun's indirect relationship with them.

As for Y2K companies in general you might want to be extra cautious with these companies. Most are extremely overvalued and most will not likely to be around after year 2000!

As for Y2K problems in general, as I said before in my humble opinion this is a much much bigger problem than everyone thinks at this time. I am hearing more and more that IT managers and executives do not want to spend a dime until they know for sure how much it is going to cost them to fix their Y2K problems. And perhaps this is one of the reasons we hear more about slow down of PCs, semis, and in other high tech sectors. It is not that corporations do not have the money to spend, it is just that they are delaying their spendings untill they know how much they have to spend in Y2K, which in my opinion is going to be a lot of money. Thus the so called slow down in other high techs may continue for at least 1-2 more quarters.

Just my humble opinion of course.
