A note to Radica management...are you listening?

I think I can summarize a problem I keep reading about and one that should concern all shareholders as well as management --- you need to get the stores to re-stock faster and order more merchandise.

I spent the first two years of my professional life in retail and can tell you that if Radica merchandise is not there to fill those "j hooks", the clerks will take items from adjacent hooks and fill the empty ones with someone else's stock to keep the aisle looking full. This is NOT GOOD for us.

In many of the stores I visited, Tiger Electronics items were being put on Radica hooks because Radica items were not available. There can only be one reason this happens -- the store is completely out of Radica items out front AND in the storeroom. With the retail stores doing just-in-time inventory, they rarely order more than they need and do not keep excessive inventory in storerooms.

Tiger Electronics hooks are almost ALWAYS completely full. They are doing something right and you need to benchmark them and find out what they are doing differently to keep those shelves full.

The problem lies with the distributors and the retail management flat out not ordering enough merchandise for the demand. I have heard reports from all over the country on this thread that verify this is not a local problem.

Fix it and you will sell much more. We will be happy to share the rewards with you.
