bonnie, the pension plan money goes down a rathole. This may come as a surprise to many investors but where there is the potential for reward there is risk nothing is guaranteed. A promise of steady inflows of money into the stock mkt does not guarantee positive returns. at some point, I suspect soon, money managers will start to consider the return of their money rather than the return on their money. I see this mkt as nothing more than a massive Ponzi scheme which for which I blame the federal reserve. If it is difficult to imagine that things could go wrong ask yourself who warned,in advance, of the disaster in SEA ? Mike
