how long prior to expiration does a particular price appear to be the target for
expiration?

blankmind,

It is during the last trading week that one call tell during a long cycle as March is for Ascend. Otherwise nine trading days is adequate since the cycle was only open for 90 days instead of 270 days.

so far neither gary k. or jan has responded to why they believe this far out 35 will be the expiration price.

Blank,

After 24 hours of NON-STOP analysis on the above subject, my conclusion is simple and straight forward...

I have 3 choices, Mar 30, Mar 35, and Mar 40.

Mar 30 -- Too pessimistic, it requires down-ward pressure from the general market.

Mar 35 -- More realistic. Path of least resistance.

Mar 40 -- Optimistic. It requires strong push from the general market.

Comments, feedback, I read all your posts for this weekend. You need to change your name to Sharpmind.
