maybe they actually ran out of excuses...if you could ship excuse zenith could have a corner on the market

Americast CEO Stephen Weiswasser to step down

LOS ANGELES, March 5 (Reuters) - Americast, which is developing video programming and services, said Thursday its president and chief executive, Stephen Weiswasser, will step down on March 31.

The company, a 1995 venture between Ameritech Corp <AIT.N>, BellSouth Corp <BLS.N>, GTE Corp <GTE.N>, SNET and Walt Disney Co <DIS.N>, named Jody Greenstone Miller, executive vice president for operations, acting president and chief operating officer.

Weiswasser will remain a consultant to the company and has not yet announced other plans, Americast said in a statement.
