Here is another past ERHC update from Feb 19th that was provided by Bay Street Bytes

Environmental Remediation (ERHC,NASDAQ: $1.47)
************************
(Featured July '97 @ $0.92)

To look at the stock action yesterday one would think ERHC had released bad
news. Not so! Investors just are not that good at reading between the
lines, and besides - read our lips: what we want to know before we see any
more good news is: "Where's the Financing"??

It is the habit of BBS to update information on companies only after news
has been formally released and as yet there has been no announcement on
financing from ERHC. I hate to say it is imminent (I have said this before
& been incorrect) - but one of these days! ERHC apparently has more than
one suitor willing to provide financing and will in due time choose the one
or ones that will provide the best option for the company and its
shareholders. In the meantime, there is a lot of activity behind the scenes
of this rather unique junior - and no good reason I know of for the stock
price to be declining. Although Oil and Gas prices continue to decline,
ERHC will be so diversified in its business activities, it will be less
affected than the average oil & gas explorer/producer.

Yesterday's announcement is really an announcement of another huge
opportunity in the environmental remediation side of the business. So far
we have only been made aware of one other, that being the $70 million plus
contract with Chevron to 'plug & abandon' old wells, although this
environmental end of the business is expected to be very active in the years
to come.

ERHC has acquired 70% of VinVirotec to obtain access to its Louisiana
N.O.R.M. disposal sites and federal and state permits for the disposal of
saltwater (brine) and N.O.W. (naturally occurring waste) by products.
VinVirotec holds one of only two approved licences in this area which would
otherwise easily take 2 years and approximately $2 million to obtain.

Not one to waste any time, ERHC is already negotiating with the Department
of Energy for a significant part of a huge saltwater disposal project in
Louisiana. No $ figures are provided but this looks like another
multi-million $ deal for ERHC, with others likely to follow. Contrary to
market reaction yesterday, this was a very positive announcement:
