Can you give me the tax code reference for the change in shorting against the box....and has there been any cases on it....

1997 was a waste of time for INTC shareholders

Again...it depends on your timing...

A friend of mine bought 11500K shares at average price of 68 and sold at avg price 99 ...in about 4 months...calculate the annualized return on that....

he got back in Dec and out in Feb....not the same return...I think it was buying in around 70 and selling around 88....

and he will get back into INTC once he sees what shakes out in the next few months..

oh yeah he has to pay the taxman and no way would he EVER hang on just because he didnt want to pay the taxman.....

what were you saying about INTC giving you less than 7% annualized return in a year?????

of course, I couldn't get a handle on INTC and it kicked my butt and my return was a big NEGATIVE...

INTC can make you lots of money if you can get a handle on it...
