You are right that Uniphase hasn't kept going up. However, the stock has just enough volatility to make it a great trading stock (or in my case a covered and naked option play). Through my own unorthodox and non-Brinker-approved strategies, I'm actually up almost 200% on the stock since buying it in Apr.'97. (I said 100% in my earlier post because I didn't want to brag and didn't think you'd believe me anyway.) If you want to see the numbers, let me know.
