Jim,

On your CPQ reference:

HOLY MACKEREL and I would use stronger language
than that if I couldn't get banded from SI for life.

I didn't see any responses to his post. Hopefully someone
stopped him in a private post. What the H*LL
happened to risk management. Even I have the odd 50 percent
loser in my portfolio right now, but I not going to throw
good money after bad and I not going to go hungry if I don't
get it back. Fortunately, my winners have out numbered my losers.

I have been taking a hint from Tom Trader and liquidating
some of my non-core positions into strength. The core positions
I will looks at again in 24 months time if the market tanks.
Most bear markets are 18 months in length, so if they have not
repaired themselves sufficiently by then some thing has probably changed with their fundamentals and out they go.

Whoa, I have to think about this, but I think I am going to start liquidating faster than I originally thought. Everyone thinks the near term top is 9000 and I think we are pretty pricey now, so why would you hold out for another 6 percent given the downside risk.

Harry
