Bill:

Those are telling comparisons. BEA Systems got another upgrade - Friday I think.

Remember BORL is still transitioning. You and I think (and hope) they'll succeed. But many in the market think otherwise. (Hence Del's bemoaning trying to get more coverage and your points.) Still there is execution risk involved and that may explain some part of the discount. The other part as you know is that the company is still not 100% enterprise - more like 50%. But that should change quickly.

Our time will come. Patience - the nec. attribute of the best investors. Think of the opportunities the market is affording you and me to accumulate shares in a company that if it succeeds will be worth $30 today and hence maybe $60-$90 a few years from today. That's a gift. Enjoy! (60 is for fun. 90 is to dream. I'll take 30 a few years from now. But 60 or 90 does show the prospects of comparison. The other issue is that the BEAS and IONA type valuations could go out the window a few years from now. Markets tend to overrate sectors from time to time and then overrate them sometime later. Cable companies or HMOs are two groups that come to mind.)

Shane.
