Thought it would be interesting to see what became of the presenting companies, and whether in hindsight there were any lottery tickets. I've only spent a few minutes, but if anyone has insights as to how well an investment would have done in one of these companies, chime in! Presenters: Artemus Energy Limited: NAV at the time was ca. $1.70. They were producing around 30 boe/d. I think they were eventually taken over by Vermillion. Bellator Exploration Inc. -- Trading at 42 cents, producing 80 bbl/d. Taken over by Baytex in 2000. Best Pacific Resources Ltd. -- producing 650 b/d, trading at $1.19. Taken over by Advantage in 2002. Big Horn Resources Ltd. -- Producing 330 b/d, trading at 71 cents. Merged with Westlinks in 2001, which I believe became Enterra. Calahoo Petroleum Ltd.. Trading at 95 cents, producing 950 b/d. Taken over by Samson Canada in 2000. First Star Energy. Producing 70 b/d. No idea what happened to them. Founders Energy. Trading at 65 cents, producing 500 b/d. Believe they became Provident in 2001. Ironwood Petroleum Ltd. Trading at 85 cents, producing 400 b/d. No idea what happened to them. Midas Resources Ltd.
