GET YOUR UTILITY INVOLVED - IT'S MORE SERIOUS THAN YOU REALIZE.
Sometimes I get SO frustrated because some people ONLY think about stocks ... and not about things that will affect them personally ... including their stocks. So many linear thinkers out there, with blinders on - who want a "quick fix".

The UTILITY problem is REALLY, REALLY bad. If utilities are down ... what happens to your stock transactions ... THINK ABOUT IT!!

TWO THINGS YOU SHOULD DO ...

Get my "Utility" report. Unfortunately, ONLY Word97 format.
Email me: Quest@hypercon.com - Subject: "Utility Report"

THEN TELL YOUR UTILITY ABOUT THE FOLLOWING "PRIVATE" UTILITY DISCUSSION GROUP.

If you've been dealing with Y2K people at your local power company, or know people who have been, make them aware of the following information posted on the discussion forum at Rick Cowles' Utilities & Y2K site so they can pass it along to their contacts.

"Electric Industry "Players Only" Forum - Closed Discussion
At the request of several folks in the electric industry, Rick Cowles set up a separate password protected forum for electric industry reps who wish to exchange information in a more 'closed' environment. Access to the "Players Only" forum is limited to legitimate electric utility employees.

Industry reps wishing to utilize the "Players Only" forum should contact me via email at rcowles@waterw.com to request access to this discussion group, and I'll provide details at that time.

A CAUTIONARY NOTE: The "Players Only" forum was set up because Cowles recognized that there are some sensitive and proprietary issues that need to be discussed behind closed doors. However, it is NOT INTENDED that the "Players Only" forum be used for general discussions at the exclusion of the public. Use the "open" euy2k.com forum (the one you're reading now) for those discussions.

Cheryl,

With respect to Jenkins promising vs. projecting. You are talking semantics. Projected is fine with me. I don't see the big difference.

I provided the quotes I based my opinion on.
Anyone was free to draw whatever conclusions they wanted..

Also I was responding to JDN. JDN used the word promise and I just naturally used the word in reply.

That said the fact is people rely on statements by CEO's.
When a CEO says there will be significant revenue in the 3rd qtr, then people expect and reasonably so that there will be significant revenue in the 3rd qtr.

So your distinction is absurd imo.
It makes no difference if it's a promise or a projection.
Have you heard of earnings disappointments?
I don't ever recall anybody saying, "Oh that wasn't really a disappointment because it was just a projection or a belief. Not a promise."

(And just to be clear I haven't said they won't make significant revenue this qtr. I haven't thought that through yet. Are you saying maybe they won't?)

With respect to preying on people.
Please be explicit.
How am I am doing that?
And towards what end?
What would I be gaining?
If you think this through, this charge is nonsense..
The only way it would make sense is if I was a short.
And I am not.

As for having my number you don't have a clue.

As for the rest Cheryl this is your typical witchhunt and slander campaign.
You have done this consistently with others who raise critcisms - in all cases I wonder why you waste your time. So I am not surprised you are doing it now to me.

I am going to do what I can to stop it.
And if that fails then I will probably stop posting for a while.
Since I am in no way interested in spending a whole bunch of time
listening to and responding to slanderous personal attacks.

I will be more than happy to let you and others hype away.
Contrary to your innuendos it is in my interest to do so.

As for being smooth. Thank you. I am anything but smooth.
And nowhere near as smooth as you.

Last just for the record.
I have said numerous times and still believe that this is a stock with explosive potential to the upside.
It is a great story.
I don't happen to fully believe the story.
But in the short run I don't think it matters how true the story is.
