Good news? If DEC strikes down the deal, it would take away some of the reason why I bought CPQ stock in the first place. But all this news was already known at the time of the merger announcement. Obviously DEC must have looked at all these things very closely. All except for the last point, the declining CPQ share price.

Mohan: Yowser! 1.3B? If that's true, then projected writeoffs, dilutions, etc., would have a tremendously low impact as compared to the full 9.6B no? That would be very good news indeed, if I interpret that correctly.
