Hey Venkie...

I too had a fantastic weekend ... I went to the Dell outlet store and almost had to fight my way in the door. I talked to a very knowledgeable representative and within ten minutes I took the plunge and was on my way home with my new machine. I am now officially a home computer semi-geek...

I am totally serious about the activity over there..the parking lot was bloated and the inside of the store looked like an ant farm. I know this doesn't mean a lot on a national level..but locally it says the DELLs are very popular. By contrast I stopped over at Best Buy to see what they had on the shelves and their were five people in the aisle (two were sales clerks.) I spoke to one and although he was a nice kid...he knew less than I did about computers. Probably an unfair comparison...but it's the only one I have for the day.
