Mr. Pink Thanks for your post. I have been following the spinoff for a couple of months but did not pick up any as I had not completed due diligence on it yet. My question for you: is there a quick set of rules that can help you screen some good event driven (spinoff or otherwise) companies. I seem to get lost in the number of spinoffs to the point that I can not adequately investigate them all. ie, any hints as to the types of things you look for before developing the entire business model would be helpful. (For me at least, it takes a significant amount of time to wade through all the s-8 forms, proxy forms, 10K etc. If I could narrow down the choices before having to develop the business model, it would be quite helpful thanks again.
