Wolf...certainly this bum quarter affords CPQ the latitude to call for massive layoffs, that would be more difficult to justify in a robust quarter. As I said before, could be some creative sand-bagging going on here. Stephen

sea wolf...since you are new here is another item that hasn't been considered. You have probably already have the answer thought out. The Asian currencies have drastically been reduced next to the dollar. CPQ has 100 day inventory. 100 day inventory holds valuations in US $ from 100 days ago. How does that affect costs?
