For the record, my recent post never asserted that these were formal sell recommendations, though reading the articles makes it clear that Assensio held a short position on these stocks. Many articles did in fact include quotes with analyses, amounting to a formal sell recommendation. Oddly enough it seems that stocks that DON'T perform well according to his predictions don't end up among his "selected performances". Wonder why. Also, for the record, I stand corrected on BioVail. That is, in fact, among his research reports. This response is not directed at any Blind Assensio Bullshit Shoveller (BABS) in particular. Just a note for the record.

Does <<a simple buy sell or hold question>> necessitate a response that the stock (Shared Medical) "will soon decline to the area of 25 to 30"??

Business Week, 16 Jun 1997:

"One company that has recently caught Asensio's attention is Shared Medical, now trading at about 50, which Asensio believes will soon decline to the area of 25 to 30."

For the record:
Barbara - Being a trader by nature, I have followed Asensio's calls
very carefully over the past several quarters with great interest - including all of the threads you mentioned and am aware of how losing investors respond to his analysis. In the normal course, his calls are technically useful and a small part of a much larger picture. Nothing more, nothing less...thank you for your links and responses today. I hope you continue to monitor this play on the thread. (I just joined SI in Oct. under the gun of financial ruin...the price was about to skyrocket!?!! and I'm an internet junkie.)

As mentioned,
good luck to all
regards,
am
