must be nice to believe that...
but the companies YOu compared to are story stocks... this ain't a story stock, it is a stock with a story, and the three little pigs are gonna get eaten by the irs, tax atty's and bankruptcy court unless there is an infusion of cash...
most of the 'net companies lose money on the net.. and thru advertising, this is a last ditch effort for egghead to try and stay alive...
their transition costs are gonna be huge... their losses are gonna be real and the new investment is speculative at best... if msft opens a software online store...
allen will hafta dump his eggs and then there will be no financing..
otoh i could be wrong and get to lose some money..
i am fallible.. but not stupid.. stupid believes that there is more to this company than nothing.... a 250 million valuation on a consistent money loser...
brand recognition..
buy a yugo... everyone has heard of 'em...
this brand ain't too strong

Tae:

I agree with the analysis that EGGS can be a powerhouse on the internet... Without all those costs to maintain stores (payroll, rent, utilities, etc.) EGGS should begin showing dramatic improvements in margins and earnings...
