DELL down 3 1/8 (post split) in London, according to Reuters:

"By 1045 GMT, Compaq traded at $24-1/2, down $3-1/8 from its New York close, while its main rival Dell Computer Corp dropped $3-1/4 to $66, allowing for a two-for-one stock split."

Cramer this am from thestreet.com. After saying the CPQ/Intc prob may have something to do w/ people not neding the newer chips says: <<Does this mean everybody should go out and short Dell? I hope not; I am long it, but maybe too long it. Dell is smaller and at a different stage of development than Compaq and has a better business model. There are still plenty of people out there that haven't even made the upgrade from machines that are truly slow to the current iterations, and I'm betting that Dell will win more than it needs to make its numbers. But that doesn't mean I'm not scared.>>
