This is consistent with DLJ's crystal ball efforts to predict the future, based on inference alone... The public will soon see that Dell is eating up market share of the other "box makers". Although I am guilty of oversimplifying these critical issues, it is (IMHO)profound in and of itself, namel, that DELL HAS BUILT A BETTER "MOUSE TRAP". End of story... Dell up by 5 points COB today... WTC

<<CNBC reporting - DLJ downgrades DELL.>> Ironic...this is what I had predicted to a friend of mine. Isn't this almost exactly what happened about three months ago and then within weeks.."goodness" the analysts, etc experienced a religious encounter and reversed their ratings. These people take a shot gun approach to scare the lemmings and the sheep. Unfortunately it works all too often. Dell has had its ups and downs..the difference is the ups FAR EXCEED the downs. I'm not in love with this stock..but I have been thinking of buying it some candy and flowers. T.R. P.S. Let's all remain calm and be logical..what has happened to Dell's business since last Friday...NOTHING. On the other hand Motorola, CPQ, et el are all disappointing...Dell will continue to move ahead.
