MARCH 9, 1998American Eco Announces Total Backlog For All Divisions
Reaches $245 Million
HOUSTON, TEXAS--Michael E. McGinnis, Chairman, President and CEO
of AMERICAN ECO CORPORATION announced that its backlog for the
total Company including all Subsidiaries is over USD$245.0
million. Recent News Releases on the successes of several
divisions based in Canada and the US have announced backlogs of
the individual subsidiaries, some News Services have not correctly
attributed these backlogs to the Subsidiaries only.
In the USA, American Eco Subsidiaries include: Chempower of Akron,
Ohio; United Eco Systems, High Point, NC; Turner Group, Port
Arthur, Texas; Specialty Management Group, Dallas, Texas; and
Separation and Recovery Systems, Irvine, California. Each of
these American Eco Subsidiaries has additional operating units
working in other markets under various Trade Names.
In Canada, American Eco Subsidiaries include: Industra Service
Corporation, of Vancouver, British Columbia; and MM Industra of
Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Michael E. McGinnis, Chairman, President and CEO of American Eco,
stated, "American Eco is proud of its achievements in the past
year when our revenues reached $220 million, while backlog for all
Subsidiaries grew an amazing 156 percent to $245 million for the year ahead".
