Although I appreciate the heads-up, if I remember correctly, Brainshare is generally a non-event for the stock price. Watch for MSFT news on NT 5.0 about the same time (MSFT's predictable freeze the market tactics ought to start about then. Novell news in the past has had little impact on the stock price. Not surprising to me...anyone ever hear anything on the deals with Sun, Oracle, IBM, CA etc? Whatever happened to wolf mountain? Per Novell employees at the time, this was to be the Border Manager of last year. Seems to me, earnings aside, the only real mover news I remember was Novonyx (very questionable what this did for shareholders) and the Dr Schmidt announcements. On the other hand, there does seem to be many anxious eyes ready to leap that are watching Novell at the present. I'm hoping the bulls push this thing up a little higher so I can get my puts cheap. sf
