Look, Angelo, let me be real clear on a few points:

(1) Orbi is not going out of business.

(2) Orbi is not going out of the GPS business.

(3) Orbi has been shut out of being in Microsoft's "Auto PC" GPS platform -- deal with it -- and is far behind TRMB and others in the car navigation market.

(4) Orbi will probably have to come up with a next generation car navigation GPS system that entails two-way messaging to take advantage of its Orbcomm system, or give up on the car navigation GPS market (not other GPS markets). My bet is they will come out with a new system, and we'll see how it goes from there.

(5) No one is saying TRMB is "taking over" the car navigation market, let alone in "one year." Where do you get this stuff, anyway?

(6) Financial strength only can get you so far in a market dominated by intellectual property and expertise. Sony and Rockwell, for example, have already been driven out of the US car navigation market, and they are orders of magnitude bigger than TRMB or Orbi.

(7) Orbi's GPS division is much smaller than TRMB. Magellan was probably at about $70 million a year in revenues and unprofitable at the time of the merger, while Ashtech was in the neighborhood of $50 million a year. TRMB has more like $250 million a year in revenues.

(8) I am done responding to your unresearched, juvenile (albeit high-spirited and generally benign) messages. Why don't you keep the rah-rah hype on your own thread, where at least you have an audience? Remember, you promised.
