Gregg, I just wanted to commend you on the general improvement of your posts. At first I just thought you were a short term trader, but it looks like you are going to stick with holding this stock. Good for you. I really appreciate how you have modified your posts so that you are not reacting to others at too personal a level; you are now fitting into the general social fabric of this thread -- which is one of studied evaluation and exchange of ideas as well as a general interest in the database industry with a general respect for each individual who posts. Keep up the good work Gregg. We should all be prepared to be patient -- if we don't see $10 and change before July it's okay. I will be happy with a thirty percent increase in stock price per year over the next ten years -- which I think is realistically achievable. - RDH

Makes sense that Intel would support the effort. Today there are many efforts that start on NT and move to Solaris or some other flavor of UNIX for performance and scaling. I see it all the time with companies developing with Jaguar CTS. Each vendor in the DB sector can appreciate the concept of middle tiers to help control load on their data engines. Some are offering their own solutions and/or partnering with other companies. Offerings like Merced only raise the ante on performance. syborg P.S.
