Peter, great news on all fronts, especially:

1) redundant express servers

2) addressing the morning order processing

Thanks for the continued improvement.

Thanks for the good news about the new express server and improvements in morning order processing, Peter. I'll see how fast my orders get processed tomorrow morning...

>>WAS NO DELAY IN ORDER PROCESSING THIS MORNING, <<
Peter,

That was true for me, and actually my overall access is as good as it ever has been today (except when on CO's T-1!). BTW, I live close to NYC, and don't go through MCI.

Peter,

Great news on options trading.

Does anybody want to join me to throw Peter a dinner
if he could make it in May?

John

HELLOOOOO DATEK,

I currently have 3 accounts and I would appreciate it very much if you could tell us WHEN or even IF you plan to make some basic changes to your web site.

There is NO EXCUSE for uneven columns and numbers running together all over the screen. I can't handle the MIGRAIN HEADACHES EVERY DAY caused by your UNINHANCED DOWNGRADED website.

You took a little poll on this thread a few weeks ago on what your customers would prefer on the classic site, and I believe the results were unanimous. So...what, if anything do you folks plan to do, and when?

I HAD been extremely happy with Datek, but the new user (un)friendliness, lack of readability, and the daily cost of Tylenol has just made trading with Datek unbearable, intolerable, and unacceptable.

I don't mean to be overly critical, but you folks took a good thing and screwed it up.

PLEASE ADVISE.
Thanks,
DJC

~Mutual Fund NAVs not updating!~

Petey, MF NAVs are incorrect (at least in my nickel n' dime account). They still list yesterday's NAV. Example: ANABX still shows $7.94, when it's up to $8.02 according to YAHOO.

Load the tape and run the job again! (Okay, so they don't use tapes anymore. I'm old. Sue me.)

Datek, you're a big company with lots of resources. How can you live with a website looking that poor and with so many bugs. The many bugs, faults and their apologizes are pathetic.

Look at a company like Web Street Securities: webstreetsecurities.com. Now there is a professional set up site. Unfortunately their trades seems to be somewhat slow so I will not change to them - just yet. But if a small company like WSS can do it, how come you can't?

There is also a SI tread for them: Subject 16450
