BEIJING, March 6, AsiaInfo Services, Inc -- On February 19 the Ministry of Electronics Industry publicized the result of a recent test and appraisal of the quality of 232 VCD players manufactured by 214 domestic enterprises in Beijing. 13 products of 8 brands including Panda, Shinco, Wanyan and Shida are named national high-quality products. Panda boasts the first place on the list in the comprehensive test. Panda 2838 and 2858 VCD players are listed the top products in all the 28 testing indicators.

Shelly, << sorry I struck a nerve >> I hold no prejudice but speak of seeing little to no change during 5 years of living in those crony societies between 1961 to 1988. 25+ years with little to no change. I find those in America from the Asian cultures are quick to support their countries, yet while befriending those living in the cultures were anxious to find their way to America. Oh yes, I was married to an Asian for 25 years. Intelligent, I'm not, but that's different than ignorant. I've had exposure. Time will teach the truth. Again, sorry, but Asia social structure is relevant to economics and does deserve discussion in the marketplace. Larry
