Thean, SLB is still the leader. It tested the lower uptend channel support line about an hour ago at 71.25. A close below that is bearish for SLB since it will have violated the new channel...i guess that means it will trade 70-80 until something else occurs to change the pattern. GOM leases????

One thing I don't like...SLB made lower highs on Momentum and RSI in the last run up than the previous run up.

Do you mean the longer trending upward reversal of the OSX, or the short term downward reversal from the recent runup? The rapidity of the fall today makes me believe I'll get another buy signal in just a few days. I'm amazed at how volatile this sector remains, with some poor souls taking 6 to 7% hits today. I'm suprised MDCO didn't get hammered any worse than it did today, remember it went up when everyone else was starting down on Friday. It's got some stuff left on the downside left if that merger action doesn't come in soon. FGII is looking tasty at this level.
