Rich,

Hmmmm, yeah, seemed like the market makers walked the price up to those limit orders. Who knows if they were shorts covering, or just a large orders that were a hair above the ask by some institutional buyers

Hard to say, though I'd love the talk with the MM people to know whats going on.

Regards,

Quad-K

Here are some of those big trades

15:39 25,000 10 1/2
15:39 10,000 10 1/2
15:41 25,000 10 1/2
15:42 25,000 10 1/2
15:43 10,000 10 7/16
15:43 200,000 10 17/32

15:59 10,000 10 3/8
15:59 10,000 10 1/2
15:59 30,000 10 3/8
16:00 10,900 10 5/16
16:00 48,800 10 5/16

So my guess is it looks like some institutions had a target price of 10 1/2 and there were some on the close orders. The volume is still reflecting these big traders. After today with the techs I'm not sure how many little guys will be jumping into this "small cap" stock. NOVL ran counter market all day until the end when it finished down.
