Michael:

I think that your comments on 2G and 3G are both astute and correct. The GSM crowd is indeed attempting to confuse system operators and financing sources with nomenclature rather than merit. I am amazed by all this talk about wireless data in a world where the preponderance of the population has yet to make a telephone call and roughly 170mm people have personal computers.

Another funny one. The GSM community talks a lot about worldwide roaming, but can anyone tell me just how minutes of use are derived from transatlantic customers versus native consumption? If you cannot dazzle 'em with brilliance, then dazzle 'em with B/S.

Best Regards,

Gregg
