I have a friend that works for RS, he said that they are real
quick to get orders in and stocked. I already talked to him and
may get more info about the deal and time frame.
I'm not going to hold my breath.
It always takes time even when things go smoothly.

I use EDI often, seems like everyone is going to it.

bob,

please correct me if i'm wrong [and i'm sure you will [g]], but i think you probably know more about this stuff.

at my company, edi means that the customer literally plugs into our computer system, with certain restrictions. that is, without ever speaking to anyone, they can browse our product list, place an order, monitor production scheduling, the production order itself, production progress, the shipping date and receive their invoice. it's quite a commitment by the manufacturer to allow a customer this much access.

from what i have seen of liteglow, they may not be quite this sophisticated. i can't quite see them with computerized production scheduling, etc. on the other hand, if they do, we're talking about a really progressive, big time company.

your thoughts, please.

regards,
