James, No, there are others, on other threads, who have been banished and/or had their posts deleted unilaterally. I agree with you that if anyone is to be thrown off SI, it should be the twits, whiners, and general-purpose troublemakers, rather than their oft hapless and, I might add, intentional targets. Borrowing that, I concur with others on this and other threads who think the threads, especially those in the Coffee Shop area, should be wholly self-policing. Personally, I refuse to post to or respond to posters who clearly wish to annoy and even set up others for a cyberfall, and I think we all should resist rising to the bait that they often throw our way. When these loathesome cybercreatures (trolls in geekspeak) realize they have no audience--captive or otherwise--and seeing their names on posts sends most sentient beings reflexively to the "next" button, even the most dense and lunkheaded of them must reach the conclusion that they are talking only to themselves. Holly (who has a hotkey programmed for for "next" and "enter")
