BALTIMORE (CBS.MW) -- Frank Cappiello is probably the only Wall Street professional who has his name on a family of mutual funds and an Italian dish, Eggplant Cappiello at Chiapparelli's in Baltimore.

He's also one of the few Wall Street money managers who is sticking with battered Intel Corp. (INTC) and other technology stocks. Loudly and proudly sticking with them.[snip]

John...
Looks like tap city for Intels high margins....
Compaq, 60% non Intel boxes in Jan...and IBM 71%.
That's mind boggling.
Overall, 36% NON Intel boxes in Jan 1998 vs 7% in the first quarter of 1997. The retail consumer has
spoken...and they didn't care as much about "Intel Inside" as the price on the outside...
They also weren't taken in by the high priced Pentium II...
When Analysts get ahold of this report what do you think will happen to the price of Intel stock? Ahhh ooooo
ga!
Jim

Aki,
Re:Finally BUXXX... what did u decide to do????

I'm still waiting, drifting with the tide/icebergs.
Seems like there might be some support at $30-31 before options
expiration, barring any "collisions".
I am priming my gun again though, might get to do some polar bear
hunting on the ice flows! Still keeping my eyes open for the
"big one".
GM is probably groaning and rolling his eyes right about now,
but I bet he is grinning, none-the-less.

Waiting patiently, with primed gun.
