has anyone heard from Quest or LCI today whaether this deal is accretive this year to Quest earnings? I would guess it is strongly accretive but have not heard this from the comments posted/released today.

This deal should move Quest way beyond Level 3 interms of getting to customers quickly by using LCI in place sales force. Level 3 doesn't have the equivalent of LCI.

best to all.......Bill

good to have you back, and glad to hear that you came by a
piece of change on your trek.
coin of the realm i hope.

Level 3 ?
it was a just a detailed answer to a sincere question.
you can find my personal stance on the stock in post # 218 on that
thread.
i just think it's a good play, is all. it may be months before you read where
i say it's a good stock. there's no doubt they're making money over
there though. up another 4+ today, after running every day last week.
however it turns out, if someone wanted to keep money in this sector,
and they'd had enough of Qwest's nap-mode, this one is worth
looking into.

they seem to go back and forth as to whether it will be an IPO or
simply a symbol change and a Nasdaq listing.
no one seems to know yet, for sure. can't help you there.

...but it's spelled H-O-M-E-W-O-R-K.
