Ask yourself:

What is the price going to do in the near term? And ... Why?

What is the price going to do in the long term? And ... Why?

If you don't feel that your "Why?" answers are good, then
maybe you ought to look for another stock. Very bad idea
to let other do your picking!

IOW ... it doesn't matter so much what your answers are ...
what matters more is how you arrive at them.

I think the DD sector is in bad kimchee and is going to get
worse before it gets better ... competition, price pressure,
inventories, new technologies, etc, etc.

And, I think the DD sector will adjust upward toward the end
of the year ... upward margin pressure, repositioning, and
new demand for large drives.

I think NT5 is going to act as a catalyst ...

The key question is "Does WDC have the management
necessary to weather this situation and find a way to win?"

Put your money where your knowledge is ...

Enjoy!

John,

Out of curiosity, how much disk space does Win, 98 beta consume to install?

Best,
