It does not PO me if in fact there is no NEW news to report.
Apparently, DELL is sticking to its story and simply reaffirming their
earlier statements.

Reluntantly closed my short today at 63 1/2, as I was unnerved about the FTC raising concerns about the CPQ/DEC merger. For some reason, I think the DELL bulls may rush the stock again.-g-g

I still think valuation is high, and 55-60 is more realistic.

My trading account is now cash, and LEIX long.

Good Trading, LF

Bill, I couldn't agree with you more! In fact, I e-mailed Dell with my complaint. Here is a copy of the e-mail I sent:

Subject: Bear-Stearns Conference Call
Date: Mon, 09 Mar 1998 13:53:18 -0800
From: Paul Levy <mplevy@gte.net>
To: Investor_Relations_Fulfillment@dell.com

I am a very upset shareholder! I understand that our CFO is having a conference call with analysts at Bear Stearns (who is not an owner of the company), but we who are owners are excluded. This behavior is not in my best interests. All owners should be given equal access to company information.

Very truly yours,

Paul L. Levy

In total agreement about SEC dropping the ball.
