I agree with your prediction. This happens over and over again with DELL stock price. This thread is ahead of the analysts.

I agree with Cramer's comment that DELL will make their numbers, especially the quarters that happen to have Intel lower their Pentinum prices. DELL, with their seven-day inventory, can load up lots of profits when the CPU cost is reduced by 30-50%. Say you order 20 PCs for your company at $2495 from DELL and they will be delivered in two weeks. If Intel announces prices cut during the first week, DELL will make additional profits from the systems they deliver to you. Because all the Pentinums they deliver to you are at the cost of lower prices from Intel. But no other box makers can take the advantage from the Inetl cut unless the deliver time is longer than the inventory time. That's why the seven-day inventory will generate more profits for DELL when Intel cut their Pentinum prices. Anyone knows the norm deliver time for corporate PCs purchase?
