StockHouse just published an interview with Victory Ventures President, Charles Desjardins on their front page. It is VERY interesting to say the least as Charles believes that Ashton is employing a special technique to find kimberlite pipes that no one else knows about (except Victory now!) A must read!!!! Hi Folks! Here's another great report back from a Toronto correspondent re. Monday PDAC action: ------------------------- The big show goes on. Like the three ring circus it's tough to decide which act to watch. The ACA booth with its prime location and excellent staffing is a big hit. President John Auston and his competent crew are there constantly to answer technical questions. What a class act! Speaking of class acts, Jack McCleary and his Troymin gang are putting on one helluva show. Great maps. Tom Boychuk is managing the booth in his competent IR role. Jack is fielding technical questions. What a display! One map shows the info which is on the Troymin website. Another shows the till status of the properties. Not bad, at all! The best is a digital topographic map of northern Alberta with Troymin lands, Ashton pipes, other properties and a clear overlay of the Slave Craton with associated Diamet, Aber and other pipes - all for scale. Very impressive. Troymin gets the Oscar for best booth, so far. Simple, unpretentious, packed with information and classy. Way to go Tom, Jack and company! Pure Gold. Very good. Nelson Baker, chief geologist, in constant attendance answers all questions thoroughly and competently. First runner up. Overall the show is less frantic than last year's pre-BreX meltdown extravaganza. But, the ADP has not quite made the grade. However, the Toronto investment establishment is starting to take notice and when they do - expect a rush of cash into the 10 or so players. Are there dynamics? You bet. We interviewed one player who was just enjoying the moment. Being able to play with the very best, come what may before the crowd figures out what is going on. There is a lot of technical innovation happening, blending mining and petroleum technology to look for diamonds in a new environment. Over at the New Claymore/Lucero/etc. suite at the Sheraton Centre the action was heavy and productive. No drunks since the suite was off the beaten track. Lots of serious talk. Speculation was in the air. Are there known pipes which are not announced? Yes, there are! On ACA land? No! How good is the information? About 80%. This reporter was tired upon realizing that this is not a simple play. There are dimensions and layers that are very complex. Net result? Expect the unexpected! Expect some more big guys to move in. Expect most of the players to announce shareholder rights plans very soon. Nuff' said. WOW! We spotted a couple of SI thread net hounds around the ACA booth and environs late Monday morning. We lurked in the background making sure we were not observed. What a letdown! They looked normal and intelligent. Not much fun. Later on in the day we conducted a survey by asking technically informed players what they thought an intelligent and knowledgeable, net-savvy investor knew about the ADP. The results - NOT MUCH! Because it's moving so fast, and the play is technically complex. This is good news, I suppose, because we have so much to look forward to. --------------------------- ------ -j :>

Jim, I will be back today at 4:00 for the Ashton presentation. At what time were you at the booth yesterday. I went by at 11:00am and 1:00pm. You may have seen me. I never got my own name tag. Too lazy to wait in line and I wanted to keep a low profile. hehehe!! I had a green badge from one of the principal display exhibitors. I was wearing a black suit with a blue shirt. Did you see me? Anyhow, I did speak to John Auston for a good 45 minutes. He seems to have forgiven the internet rumors re last year he thinks I was part of. <g> I have spoken to John A on the phone , but never had a one/one discussion with him in the past. In a joking way, his words were , " There actually is a true Frank Famularo, nice to meet you!" He knew exactly who I was! Still no confirmation on quality but will have info on quality upon bulk results on K14. So much was discussed which I can share at a later time when I have more time to type. Funny enough, I bumped into John Kaiser. Enjoyed a coffee with John and discussed the Alberta diamond play for a good hour. Nice Guy. Very Bright! As John and I were in line waiting to buy coffee, John Auston comes by to say hello and asks John Kaiser to visit the Ashton booth upon completion of our coffee. John K left for the Ashton booth and I left for the Pure Gold booth. I was informed later that John K also visited the Pure Gold booth. John K continues to be bullish on Alberta and he his watching progress real close. As well, he does agree with me that Pure Gold is extremely undervalued. I also went to a few hospitality suites last night. Great time! Good food. Hope I could have met you guys and we could have crashed some of these suites. Jim/Ed/Alfonso/Maintenance/etc... Did meet Denis L at the Pure Gold booth. Gotta go, talk to you all later.
