I believe that Ken Nowell has provided you with all of the information you need to answer this question. Simply follow the trail he provides and prove for yourself that these are more than just rumours. It's ok to be skeptical...just don't be so passive! Do some of your own DD if you really want to get a true perspective on Crystallex. ;-) Just as a humourous aside (and I address this to all forum members not just you Carl) I was reading the Rogers 1998 Short forum where it seems that Crystallex has been the subject of a little discussion. Do you want to know what one of the arguments a poster there (Bill Wexler) used to short KRY? Because it has an 'X' in its name! It seems Bill thinks that any company with an 'X' or a 'Z' in its name is a sure-fire scam. Sigh! Ciao.

Carl, I've seen that name before, spelled both Asencio and Asensio. It's not a common name, but not extremely rare either. There is no discernible difference in the pronunciacion of the two in Spanish. The name likely predates our modern obsession with systematic spelling, like Smith and Smythe and Smithers etc. The noun 'ascenso' means 'ascent', it also means 'promotion' -g- . I understand this particular Asensio is a cubano - well watch out then, so is Fidel and so was Batista. On the other hand, I have met some fine cubanos, so ya never know. Ken Nowell [I think, haven't read all the posts] a while back said something about web translation pages. Well, after Bill Jackson straightened me out a few days ago, I tried Altavista's new system; babelfish.altavista.digital.com ...and it's pretty good, much better than it used to be. You still end up with some funny stuff, but it's useful, I just translated with it a letter for a friend, and it saved me a lot of typing, there was only minor editing to do. Legalese is maybe another story, though, in any language. ......... cheers ................. marcos
