"it all depends on your investment strategy..."
"but then I am a trader...if you work for a living (outside of the market) then you dont have time for that I guess..."

Yes, yes, yes, exactly!!!

I happy that you have found a strategy that works for you. I'm happy that you make money using that strategy. I wish you all the best with your strategy.
It just doesn't fit me. Why can't we just leave it at that?

Should we talk religion or politics now? ;-)

lisa,

the thing with cube is that the stock is so weird in its fluctuations that it won't necessarily wait until q3 to make a move up... it just goes whenever it wants, and i want to make sure i am on that train going to d-i-g-i-t-a-l.

When did it become a certainty that CUBE would go down or at least sideways until Q3? Some longs actually expect near term gains, and the majority of the rest respect the hazards of trying to time the market, and find a buy and hold approach more profitable. It's not a matter of time, its a matter of talent. Trading the market effectively is an art that few master, and an exercise that most are better of avoiding. Bill Gates became the world's richest man with a buy and hold strategy.
