<<I noticed that the TC2000 BOP indicator for LGND showed a sharp drop into the yellow today. >>

Bob, if not too time consuming, would you be able to give a short explanation of what you just said? I'm now convinced that Henry can explain the Krebs cycle in one paragraph or less, and if it is possible for you to give a novice such an explanation of the "TC2000 BOP", as related to Ligand, I would appreciate it.

Thank you, and good luck,
RXGOLF

Could you clarify the meaning of the "TC2000 BOP indicator". I think that things will keep moving upward for LGND, as the upcoming conferences will result ultimately in more support for the stock. When the news comes out on the G-CSF agonist, it will create shockwaves throughout the industry. Also, there probably is much work behind the scenes than meets the eyes, as Henry has suggested. Nonetheless, getting a drug to market is not easy, and having skilled partners is a great benefit.

I guess I started the uproar over the weekend by asking whether anyone had heard of the small molecule. More to come later on this. Just a simple question, but it sure got things going this weekend. Of course everyone must do their own due diligence, but things look good based on my fundamental analysis.

I'm also curious, do any of the threadsters here have a real day job? I am amazed at the amount of time people spend here. Also, the drivel that comes out from a few, leads me to believe that they (he) should get a life.

BJ

Bob, I use TC2000 also and track my LGND daily, and I agree with you that the thing about LGND (like many other story stocks) is that the technicals can quickly be overtaken by news. I've tried using TA to trade LGND, but have just about thrown in the towel since events like the Tahoe conference can trump TA anytime!
